Solution for lease & rental business
Hi,
What would be the better solution if I am going for Lease & Rental (Fleet Management) for automotive industry - Is it VMS or DBM that should be leveraged along with CRM ?
Since the requirement areas are Vehcile Lifecycle management (Procurement, Vehicle Database, Vehicle Contract Lease, Dispositions, Asset Management), not sure what to use with CRM.. VMS or DBM.

Sap documentation about this field is very poor, does anybody know what it is for?
Definition
Controls whether the status of an entry in theAction Matrixis to be checked or not.
Use
If you select this field, the system checks whether a required status has already been achieved. The status value and status time remain unchanged.
If somebody has an example to share, it will be great

VMS Authorisation roles
Hi
Could someone please help with assigning authorisation roles. I assigned transaction VELO in the role. When I test the role with ACTION CRE1 to create a planned vehicle it works. But when I click on the CONFIGURE button it gives me an error
"XCM scenario VEHICLEMAN DEFAULT not found". The authorisation role is missing Objects. I am not sure what object and I do not know how to look to see which objects are missing.

Assign one customer to multiple vehicles in DBM 600
Dear All,
I am trying to assign one customer to multiple vehicles in DBM by using VELOB - Execute Actions in Batch.
I created one varient for customer assignment to vehicles in transcation code VELOV.
Action - QACU.
I entered Company code, Plant, Sales Orgnisation,division and customer in varient.
Run VELOB for action QACU (Assign customer to vehicle) but system gives error "Action Assign Customer (DBM) was not executed for vehicle".
How can I assign one customer for mulitple vehicle in one attempt?
Please provide the solution.

Variable prices in SD
Dear Friends,
There is a requirement that .The Vendor will place an order for 10000 quantity in No.s .Here my question is that how do we map that the first 500 nos should be supplied at Rs 1200 and the rest @Rs 500.
However if we use a scale in this scenario the rate greater than 500 n0.s would be charged at the next slab.The invoices could be 1 or maximum of 5 in no.
Hence the system should recognize the same by adding the previous quantities and then throw the price.

IPC 7.0 and ECC 6.0
Hi All,
I have a question pertaining to IPC 7.0 and ECC 6.0 . IPC comes with CRM in the ECC 6.0.
What I need to do if I need to use only IPC , not CRM. Earlier IPC 4.0 was stand alone. Does IPC 7.0 is stand alone , or do I need to turn on the CRM , just to use IPC in the ECC 6.0 Environment.

1)after completion of release action active tab should be 'TAB07' on order screen

Dealer Portal Vs DBM
Hi Gurus,
I would like to understand few things here.
There is this Dealer Portal which uses the services of VMS, Spare Parts Functions and WMS.
Now as I understand there is add-on called DBM. What are the differences we have incase DBM is activated.
Secondly, if we activate DBM, will it be like previous VMS, WMS settings are irrelevant or those are still useful.

Interlinking Actions VMS - IS Auto
Hi,
I have an Interlinking action which consists of 4 elementary actions - A1, A2, A3 & A4.
The problem is sometimes one of the actions fail (e.g. A3). In such a case the vehicle is updated with A1 and A2.
My requirement is if any action fails out of A2, A3 or A4, the actions done previously should be rolled back. If action A3 fails, action A1 and A2 should be rolled back.
If any of the interlinking action fails the vehicle should come back to the state where it was before triggering the Interlinking action.
Can we do this by way of config? or is there a development which can be done.
