Personnel number not update time recording

Hi SAP Expert,

 

Now i have an issue on personnel is not update in time recording after do clock on & clock off in /DBM/TM_VT for a service order. Some personnel is update time sheet in CAT3 but some personnel is not maintain.

 

I compare master data personnel in PA30 with personnel can update time sheet and personnel cannot update time sheet.

All infotype such as Time Sheet Default (0315), Explicit Terminal Assignment (9110) & Planned Working Time (0007) is same between these 2 personnel number.

 

I run CAT3, personnel number that no update timesheet is not appear in there and /DBM/TM_ERRORS also don't have personnel number that got error.

lost of parts sales record from DBM order

Dear experts ,

 

we have a scenario in spare parts operations , recording of lost sales .  Best example is ..non aviability of material at delars end and which to be recorded  , against customer . This part is new to dealership also means dealer dont have master for this part.

 

How to record this lost sales with reason ... part is not aviable, part is damaged, part not found etc.

 

At the end of month parts department abel to genrate a part number list with its prices and its sumation to know exact figure of lost sales.

Changes after activating DIMP in ECC

Hi all,

 

We are in ECC 6.0 and we want to implement Warranty Claim process from Dealer to Vendor,end to end. For that, we are also planning to activate IS-Auto (DIMP). But before doing so, we want to know the impacts/changes that would happen in ECC after activating DIMP.

 

Kindly help me know more on the above said.

Errors on Time Stamp when completing the Service Order

Hi DBM Experts,

 

I am encountering a problem when I execute the Time Stamps for a personnel to complete the work on a particular Service Order. Following is the error message I get from transaction DBM Time Recording: Error Processing (T-code: /DBM/TM_ERRORS):

 

The attendance/absence type 00/0800 does not exist on 13.01.2011

 

I have maintained the Planned Working Time as well as the Time Recording Info in the HR Master Data. Time stamp for starting of the job (Clock On) is working fine. When I tried to confirm the job done (Clock Off), above error encountered.

 

 

Please advice if I miss out any master data maintenance or any configuration.

SAP Auto Dealer Portal

Hi Team,

 

1. I am working on a Pursuit to Implement SAP Auto Dealer Portal (Dealer Front End).

 

2. I have 2 options, Reuse an Older Web based version (based on Web and Business Server Pages  - Implemented at a different site few year ago) or Redevelop using newer Webdynpro and Netweaver based Dealer Portal. - Please suggest if its feasible to reuse and leverage and yet acheive a Shorter Implementation cycle?

 

3. I feel the versions are incompatible and hence reusing may not be feasible, only way I feel is a Lot of Interfacing between Older version and Newer version can be done and make it work.

 

4. Do you suggest Develop a New Dealer Portal directly using the SAP's Auto Dealer Portal (new version) and use the Processes, Scenarios and Data from the last implementation.

 

5. I would need Features of New Dealer Portal not available in the Older Web based version (additional features)

 

6. Also, A detailed document on the New Dealer Portal - if someone has.

 

7. Any Standard list of Interfaces that need to be written to use the New Dealer Portal.

VIN Number and Serial Numbers

Hi all,

Just wanting to confirm my solution in that I am receiving a file to create Orders ( IDOC MESSAGE TYPE ORDERS05)

I want to hold the the vehicle identification number VIN and serial number.  Also is it best to get these 2 fields populated via IDOC or should I get entered them in the sales order? If the answer is in sales order than which are the best Fields to use in VBAK.

 

Or can I have these fields populated in ORDERS05?  I wasn't able to locate the fields in ORDERS05

 

Please remember I need these 2 fields passed through to the Purchase order and Invoice. Both VIN NUMBER and serial number.

Credit management

Dear Experts,

 

I have configured the Credit management with an update group 15

 

1.The requirement is that the customers will be given a credit limit depending on their relationships and orders.(hence static credit check)

2.During delivery the system should check whether the customer has an open item which is below  of Rs5000/ period 30 days.

Irrespective of the credit limit system should  allow order, delivery , PGI and billing If its greater than 30 days and Rs 5000/- then the system should show an error message.

3. credit check at delivery only.(business requirement)

 

I have configured Static credit check as per the credit limit in delivery

 

How do we configure for the above requirement.point no.2

doubts regarding DBM process

Dear Gurus,

 

 

I am having few doubts regarding DBM process and integration with MM. Kindly give me clarity

 

a)     For DMB sales order requirement, the Vehicles and parts  procurement process should be done in DBM or ECC- Material Management?

b)     Release strategy and MRP configuration for Procurement should  be done in DBM or MM?

c)     And also kindly give me clarity on DBM and MM integration.

 

Since we want to prepare TO-BE and Blue print document kindly help me as soon as possible.

Dear Experts,

 

I need to create a Z transaction which will create

·       

  • Sales order &
  • Perform availability check for line item

 

we don’t want to copy VA01 completely to achive  this.

 

I need help on identifying  how I can create this availability check functionality for a line item in a sales order?

 

Is it possible to use a single functional module which can perform availability check and propose delivery date which user can accept and save order.

DBM Billing Button missing After Good Movement

Hi SAP Gurus,

 

Need your help on the DBM Configuration. My problem is, after i have done the good movement for Order my Billing Button is not appear at the header screen.

This problem only happen on Parts Counter Sale Order type 1000, but for Order type 2000 is working fine.

CS-No configurable material can be assigned to the order

Hi,

 

Can someone please assist me with the following problem? I am creating a Refurbishment Order in Customer Service using an Equipment created by an action in VMS.  The material maintained in the Equipment is a configuration material and I get an error "No configurable material can be assigned to the order" when I use this equipment to create the order.

Hello All,

 

I am looking for a step by step guide to create orders in Dealer Business Management.

 

I am currently dealing with the integration of DBM orders into Multi Resource Scheduling (MRS).

 

All the documents that I could find on the net explain about DBM, the classes it uses and classes on MRS side that deal with DBM integration. However, I wanted to create a order in DBM and use it in MRS.

 

Can somebody help me out here?

Supply to Line Functionality

I have seen a little documentation about the availability of supply to line functionality in the automotive solution, as follows:

What I haven't been able to locate is anything further on this functionality, like help files or further description of how the functionality works.

 

Can anyone point me in the direction of any further documentation?  My client is not using the automotive solution, but needs this functionality for its new 5.0 implementation.
