Dear Experts,

 

I need to create a Z transaction which will create

·       

  • Sales order &
  • Perform availability check for line item

 

we don’t want to copy VA01 completely to achive  this.

 

I need help on identifying  how I can create this availability check functionality for a line item in a sales order?

 

Is it possible to use a single functional module which can perform availability check and propose delivery date which user can accept and save order.

We are dealers of 4 brands of cars and interested to deploy sap b1 solution along with dealer management module.

 

1. Does the licensing support if we want to go for BI starter pack ( 5 user ) finance , inventory , sales along with 10 users of dealer manager module ( service / warranty / parts ) etc.

 

2. Is the solution cost effective for 15 user SMB dealers and approx. duartion of deployment.

3. what would be approx. licensing + deployment cost for total 15 users.

5. Finally we are also looking for any sap channel partner who can deploy the solution.

Data Matrix Barcode for labels

Dear all,

 

we have to print a data matrix barcode in a small label (KLT). We use SmartForms. Do you have any ideas if this is supported by SAP? Is there another solution to produce a data matrix barcode in SAP with a third party tool? PDF417 barcode can not used because the factory want to change to data matrix.

Note 1557674 describes the different possibilities for printing barcodes in SAP: # 1557674 - Overview of bar code printing from SAP However, if you want to print a data matrix barcode, method 1 and 2 are the only ones which can be used. So either you must have a printer where a barcode module is installed which contains the data matrix barcode, or you need a barcode.dll which contains the barcode

Where to get all open recall from the /DBM/CL_ORDER instance in DBM?

Hi,

         I want to get all the open recalls of the specific VIN corresponds to DBM order from the memo pad. After validating it i should store it to the corresponding recall history tables. the query is whether all open recalls will come in the /DBM/CL_ORDER instance? if so where? and if already any recall alternative is copied for the corresponding DBM order means, how to get it with the CL_ORDER instance data?.

EDI Customer Demand: Transferring old schedule lines is not possible.

Hi experts,

 

We are trying to implement EDI to deal with our Customer Demand. We have already generated the IDOCs (DELFOR01) to integarte the demand. But the problem we have is when we process the IDOCs, they remain with the error status: V4(139) : Transferring old schedule lines is not possible.

 

In the error messages states that the problem is because SAP finds more than one SA suitable. But, there is only one (in fact, if we cancel the SA, the error is that there is no Scheduling Agreement Available).

 

Did you faced this problem before? Which could be the issue? Any help or information will be appreciated...

iPPE Basic question- Reg

Dear Experts,

 

I have installed ECC 6.0 in my laptop.But when I try to execute the T Code PPE,the system throws me a message that profile is not

 

assigned to user.So tried to assign the PPE profile through T code OPPE13,but here I'm able to see profile related to MPO and PDN

 

total display and not related to PPE.

 

(I tried to create the profile through OPPE11,but I could not find the application as iPPE and could not assign the settings for Assgt

 

Tree Profile for Product Structure Application , Process Structure Application and Factory Layout).

 

Please help me how can I resolve this issue?

Solution for lease & rental business

Hi,

 

What would be the better solution if I am going for Lease & Rental (Fleet Management) for automotive industry - Is it VMS or DBM that should be leveraged along with CRM ?

Since the requirement areas are Vehcile Lifecycle management (Procurement, Vehicle Database, Vehicle Contract Lease, Dispositions, Asset Management), not sure what to use with CRM.. VMS or DBM.

how to change Message no. 06532 from error to warning?

Dear SAP consultant:

please help to support one issue: when material number is not existed in contract, can material number be added in call off.

Currently one kind of our contract have below characters:

(1)   (1)  Account Assignment Category = U

(2)   (2)  Item category = empty

(3)   (3)  No material number

(4)   (4) There is short text

 

 

Business department want to add material number in contract call off but they don’t want to change anything in contract.

When I try to add material number in contract call off, SAP provide one error message: “Item categories in agreement and requisition incompatible” , Message no. 06532.

Here is my questions:

(1)   Can material number be added in contract call off with current BBA’s contract?

(2)   If yes, can you help to tell the solution?

(3)   If no, can you help to check whether there is any program change can allow material number is added in contract call off?  If program change can solve our issue, can you help to check how much budget is enough?

(4) is that possible to change Message no. 06532 from error to warning?

No data transfer/ Time booked in CATS is not posted to controlling

Hi DBM Experts,

 

There is a message prompting out whenever I have done the Time Recording (Confirm/Clock off for the Service Order) as below:

 

            No data for transfer

                         Message no. LR301

 

 

Next I tried to create billing for my corresponding Service Order and I encountered an warning and error message as below:

 

Warning message:Time booked in CATS is not posted to controlling; billing not allowed

Error message:Event BILLING_CREATE cannot be processed (see long text)

 

 

Is the error and warning message above related to the message "No data for transfer" I received when I did the Time Recording?

 

Is the error message is related to CO object?

 

Please give me some advice on the issue above. Appreciate your kind respond.

DBM Order - Assign Profit Center By DBM Order Type

Hi SAP Gurus,

 

I have new requirement from my user to have different Profit Center by DBM Order Types.

 

Currently, we only have One profit center for all DBM Order types.

 

The DBM Order type that we are using is :-

 

1. Counter Sales (DBM Order Type 1000)

2. Service Order (DBM Order Type 2000)

3. Insurance (DBM Order type 2001)

 

purpose new profit center

1. Counter Sales (DBM Order Type 1000) - Profit Center MMXX-11000

2. Service Order (DBM Order Type 2000) - Profit Center MMXX-11001

3. Insurance (DBM Order type 2001) - Profit Center MMXX-11002

 

 

the requirement is, when user choose Order type 1000 Counter sales, the System will use profit center MMXX-11000,

if the user select Insurance Order Type 2001, system will use profit center MMXX-110002.

 

is there any Substitution involve in this configuration ?

is there any others configuration need to be configure ?

alternative items group in iPPE PVS

Hi gurus,

I have a question concerning alternative items group in iPPE product variant stricture.

I see this field, but how can I use it?

In classic BOM (CS02 t-code) togetrer with this field also exists a rules how to determine one of seferal alternative positions.

In PVS - no rules.

(see image attached)

 

How should I build iPPE-PVS if I have several alternative positions?

How this field (alternative items group) could help me?
