I need VMS fuctionalities in following Business process
Q 1- How to track/see the stock of the dealer using SAP VMS?? Is it possible to do so??
Q 2- What are the Standard reports available in SAP VMS?
Q 3- Transfer of Vehicle from Dealer A to Dealer B without any cancellation of documents even if the whole SD process is complete between the NSC and The Dealer A?

Hi,
Does anyone has any documentation on how to setup IPC (both technical and functional) for VMS.
This is the firsttime both technical and functional team are doing this and we could not get VMS-IPC working for product configuration.
Any help will be much appreciated.

I’m facing an issue while execute the “outgoing invoice” action in vehicle management system.
If we execute that action then invoice document will be generated but in my system it is not getting created but the action was executed successfully.

Sap documentation about this field is very poor, does anybody know what it is for?
Controls whether the status of an entry in theAction Matrixis to be checked or not.
If you select this field, the system checks whether a required status has already been achieved. The status value and status time remain unchanged.
If somebody has an example to share, it will be great

I would like to get information about which are the tables where all data related to iPPE is stored. It would be great if I get this information related to SAP ECC & SAP SCM systems.
These internal keys in both the systems can be a real pain at times.

Now the claim is generated, but i am unable to cancel it even after clicking the cancel button
Not getting any error also..

How to cancel the claim ?
Cancel claim action is also defined in the spro...

1)after completion of release action active tab should be 'TAB07' on order screen
Note :for buttons ok code will be set automatically
tried to find out the way but no solution found

What would be the better solution if I am going for Lease & Rental (Fleet Management) for automotive industry - Is it VMS or DBM that should be leveraged along with CRM ?
Since the requirement areas are Vehcile Lifecycle management (Procurement, Vehicle Database, Vehicle Contract Lease, Dispositions, Asset Management), not sure what to use with CRM.. VMS or DBM.

Hi Experts,
I am trying to create a vehicle in /DBM/VM transaction code. While I am saving, getting an error like "Action Create Vehicle with Internal Order (DBM) has not been executed".
We have maintained all the relevant configurations in VELORO, VELORM, VELORU transactions.
Note: The Action profile "QCRE" in not existing in VELO transaction.
Please help us at the earliest, we will reward accordingly.

When I change the account assignment group (AcctAssgGr) in DBM order split screen for the customer in the transaction level it is not taking the changed accont assignment group. Basically I want to overwrite the account assignment group given in the customer master record. Please advice.
This requirment is basically since the customer is defined as a credit customer, but at times the customer will have cash sale transactions as well. Thus the account that needs to be posted is different. For this I need to change the account assignment group in the transaction level without changing the master record.
Hope the question is clear.

Hi Everyone, I’ve deployed a new development system with SAP Best Practices Baseline package V3.607 and that is going pretty well for my consultants.
My people would also like to have SAP Best Practices for Automotive V1.604 but as I understand it you can only load that on an ERP EHP 4 system. As you can imagine that taking quite a timewarp into the past. Is there any way to load BP Automotive onto a new system with EHP7?
Side question: Why is the BP Automotive package so old (2011)? And why is it only listed as localized for Japan?

In my scenario Organization handles Import as well as retail business. So its an Importer and also a Dealer catering to end-customer. What solution - VMS or DBM should be used ? I believe I need to use both of them to fulfil all the requirements of business, please correct me. Also if need to use both of them - Can I use them in same instance - same client or do I need separate clients to map the scenario ? Can I also eliminate the need of CRM is I use DBM ?
