Hi DBM Gurus,
I have tried to create a Notification from Vehicle Master (T-code: /DBM/VSEARCH). However, the vehicle information as well as the customer number is not retrieved to the Notification.
Please advice if I have left out any configuration.

Is it possible to use a single functional module which can perform availability check and propose delivery date which user can accept and save order.

Hi All:
For central security control, we use the tool of Citrix MetaFrame as remote connection, but we got some problems, there is one problem: as long as the end user log on Citrix MetaFrame and access to SAP system, then sometimes they can not input chinese characters any more in their own desktop computer. I don't know why?
If some one had the same experience, please share some solution on it!

Hi all,
I am trying to use the mass processing tool of WTY and I have some problems
I have created an action, when operating the action from transaction WTY it works fine but with the mass processing tool the action produce a dump and errors.
While debuging both transactions i have found that the action is called from different programs and there different checks made by sap on the data.
does any one have any idea?

Please help me in the following scenario in Vehicle Management System.
I assign the End Customer to the vehicle using BUPA Action. Then I again execute the BUPA and change the End Customer, and again few more times.
Now I want to know the table / method where I can have the list of all the End Customers ever assigned to the vehicle.

Courrently we are working in DBM. Our client requirement is that only one order should be created for a quotation.Once an order has been created from the
quotation the sytem should not allow to create another order for the same quaotation. How to configure this in DBM.

I only found one action thats POEU ( Trade IN).
please share information on it.
Also , as there are action to create Sales order / Purchase orde ras well as action for changing them, is there a standard action available to change Trade IN ( POEU).

We want to have best of both worlds. We are using IS Automotive solution where supersession is a standard functionality. However we do not want to use DBM orders for parts sales since we wnat to have credit check functionality as well which is not availabe in DBM orders. So we are preparing quotations using VA21 and converting them to sales order using VA01,
My problem is that SAP does not support supersession on quotation processing in VA21. So if the part A if superseded by part B then in the quotation processing I get a result of supersession as the same part A and not B which is what I want. The behaviour in sales order using Va01 is correct where part A is superseded by part B.
So my question is : Has any one found a solution to this using SAP standards by way of item category config, document type config or some user exit/ BADI which has been enhanced to provide a solution to my situation?????

I want to maintain AAC (account assignment category) but this filed is blanked out..

I have facing an error message on Material document contains no items (order: 40000004 item: 000010) & Message no. /DBM/COMMON286.
This error happen when I want to create Good Issue with action QGIS (Create Goods Issue (DBM)).
Steps that I create vehicle order:
1. Go to /dbm/order01 and select 3010 u2013 Vehicle Order based on Model
2. Then I create for a new customer with model sales code
3. I save the vehicle order in DBM.
4. I go to VELO to create vehicle on Peugeot model sales code and create PO, good receipt and incoming invoice.
5. Then I use action QDBM to enable vehicle to DBM.
6. I assign the vehicle (DBM) to my vehicle order (created based on model).
7. The assignment is successful; therefore I would like to do Good Movement (good issue). Error : Material document contains no items pop up.
8. I have try with create VELO, assign QDM and create 3000 u2013 vehicle order, Good Movement able to perform.
I apply snote 1527931 - Problem with reading of document flow on nonunicode systems.
Its doesn't work, system say still say that material document contains no items.
is it advisable change error message to warning message?
Please advice.

I have installed DBM 7.0 upto SP05 on ECC 6.0 EhP5 system running on Windows Server 2008 and Oracle.
When i try to access T Code /DBM/VM i get an error message that says "Serious Error in Tables or in Program". Can anyone please tell me where am i going wrong. Also a few other Tcodes are not working either.

Hi Experts,
In our project we are using the JITM transtaction to execute some actions for received call offs. The problem is that there are a lot of Actions configured and users must only execute two actions (Backflush and Delivery). We want to avoid to execute other actions like deleting the call off.
So, the solution I thought is to create a variant for Settings, wich only allows the required actions...but I could not find how to make it a default setting.
Restirctions: We cannot modify customizing, we cannot make user to select everytime the variant.
Fact: I have tested the U_XXXX solution variant, and did not work.
Do you know if it possible to defaul the variant?

I wish to ask following question:
Whenever a vehicle comes for servicing ...
1. we create a new job-order and system internally creates an internal order for it.
2. I issue the part to the job-order from Marketing Storage location and from Spare storage location
Here I want the cost to hit respective Cost center (with respect to the storage location). Currently the cost is accumulated in the internal order.
So I wanted to ask is it possible to have this kind of scenario or will I have to settle the internal order with respective cost center (though it will be a big task for us)?
