I’m facing an issue while execute the “outgoing invoice” action in vehicle management system.
If we execute that action then invoice document will be generated but in my system it is not getting created but the action was executed successfully.
Plz help me to solve the issue.

I would like to get information about which are the tables where all data related to iPPE is stored. It would be great if I get this information related to SAP ECC & SAP SCM systems.
These internal keys in both the systems can be a real pain at times.

Dear Experts,
We are building the SAP DBM-Dealer Business Management in our system and also done the required configurations to run a simple cycle.
The business object (Vehicle Object) is getting created in the system but the warranty related data is not fetched
from the system for the particular business object. We have done the configurations to enable the warranty but still it is not functioning.
Can you please help to solve the issue?
Is there any specific configuration that we need to carry out to start the warranty?
Do we need to assign any fields to enable the warranty?
How does the warranty work in the DMB?

I want to get all the open recalls of the specific VIN corresponds to DBM order from the memo pad. After validating it i should store it to the corresponding recall history tables. the query is whether all open recalls will come in the /DBM/CL_ORDER instance? if so where? and if already any recall alternative is copied for the corresponding DBM order means, how to get it with the CL_ORDER instance data?.

I am new to VMS and trying to figure it. In our SAP DEV system, I have done the following:
1. Created a configuration profile
2. Created a material master record for a model car in MM01.
3. Tried to build an action matrix.
4. Defined Vehicle Status
5. Defined Vehicle Usage
I think I have done everything that I need to do. In VELO, my model car shows up on the FIND tab. I am trying to create a car but since I have no cars in the system to choose from I can't get it work.
Which tab do I use to create a car? I would like to create a "USED Vehicle" - action CRUV but right now I would be happy to create any car.
When on the "ACTION" tab, there are no actions available.
It seems like VELO is used to work with cars returned from the search, but I need to create a car master record. Can anybody help?
Also, if anyone has a program that accepts a file as input to create a car that they would be willing to share that would be helpful as well.

What would be the better solution if I am going for Lease & Rental (Fleet Management) for automotive industry - Is it VMS or DBM that should be leveraged along with CRM ?
Since the requirement areas are Vehcile Lifecycle management (Procurement, Vehicle Database, Vehicle Contract Lease, Dispositions, Asset Management), not sure what to use with CRM.. VMS or DBM.

I am beginner in SAP.
This is regarding Goods Receipt in Subcontracting process.
I have provided raw material Quantity = 100 Nos. to subcontracting vendor.
Subcontracting vendor done machining on 80 Quantity, and we have done Goods Receipt for 80 Quantity as Finished Parts.
Subcontracting vendor found 20 Quantity as Defected.
Shall I take back 20 Quantity by Movement Type 542.
OR
Shall I do Goods Receipt of 20 Quantity as Finished Product and price = 0. & then stock transfer of Finished to Raw Material.

Hi Everyone, I’ve deployed a new development system with SAP Best Practices Baseline package V3.607 and that is going pretty well for my consultants.
My people would also like to have SAP Best Practices for Automotive V1.604 but as I understand it you can only load that on an ERP EHP 4 system. As you can imagine that taking quite a timewarp into the past. Is there any way to load BP Automotive onto a new system with EHP7?
Side question: Why is the BP Automotive package so old (2011)? And why is it only listed as localized for Japan?

Currently one kind of our contract have below characters:
(1) (1) Account Assignment Category = U
(2) (2) Item category = empty
(3) (3) No material number
(4) (4) There is short text
Business department want to add material number in contract call off but they don’t want to change anything in contract.
When I try to add material number in contract call off, SAP provide one error message: “Item categories in agreement and requisition incompatible” , Message no. 06532.
Here is my questions:
(1) Can material number be added in contract call off with current BBA’s contract?
(2) If yes, can you help to tell the solution?
(3) If no, can you help to check whether there is any program change can allow material number is added in contract call off? If program change can solve our issue, can you help to check how much budget is enough?
(4) is that possible to change Message no. 06532 from error to warning?

What is Concept Of SAP Best Practices ? How are they useful For Industry?

In my scenario Organization handles Import as well as retail business. So its an Importer and also a Dealer catering to end-customer. What solution - VMS or DBM should be used ? I believe I need to use both of them to fulfil all the requirements of business, please correct me. Also if need to use both of them - Can I use them in same instance - same client or do I need separate clients to map the scenario ? Can I also eliminate the need of CRM is I use DBM ?
